Transmission Cable Joints

For extruded dielectric cable systems through 245 kV.

G&W offers various styles of transmission joints for direct buried or enclosed vault applications. The joints utilize precision prefabricated components offering many advantages over conventional tape or premolded designs. Joints are designed and tested in accordance with applicable sections of IEC 840 and IEEE 404. Designs include straight joints through 245 kV, transition joints through 245 kV for LPFF cable and transition joints for HPFF cable through 145 kV. Molded rubber joints are available through 245 kV.

Cable Types: Extruded dielectric, tape or wire shielded, plastic or lead jacketed, single conductor.
