| Load interrupting with 25kA asymmetric momentary and fault interrupting to 12 or 16kA symmetrical. Triad switches combine the total cost and operating benefits of fuseless, electronically controlled, resettable overcurrent protection with the safety and maintenance benefits of a totally sealed, deadfront, SF6 insulated device. In addition, Triad switches offer a third switch position for internal grounding of the incoming and outgoing cables providing added safety and faster operations. Grounding is accomplished with a simple rotation of the operating handle eliminating the need to disconnect elbow connectors. Viewing windows provide a visible open gap of all three phases. Two series configurations are available:  | TRIAD SERIES 1 incorporates ground switches for the load break switch ways.. Two models are available: Model VTVI: Ratings through 38kV, 25kA asym. momentary, 12 or 16kA sym. interrupting. Model VI vacuum interrupter mechanisms provide single or three phase protection, field selectable. Front access design available with all operating apparatus and cable entrances in one compartment. Model VTFI: Ratings through 25kV, 25kA asym. momentary, 12kA sym interrupting. Model FI vacuum interrupter mechanisms provide three phase protection using a single internal three phase mechanism. Front access design available with all operating apparatus and cable entrances in one compartment.
